Ugh, my head. I'm hungover. Not a recipe for a good run today or tomorrow. Not a recipe for a good day, period.I woke up at 4am with a pounding head and my contacts stuck to my eyes. I guess I fell asleep without taking them out. Only took me 10 hangover filled minutes of struggling with my eyeballs to get them out. That has to be good for my eyes and my contacts. I popped a couple of Advil (never take Tylenol when you are drunk) and drank some Gatorade and went back to bed.

Unfortunately, I had to get up again not too much later to deal with crying babies. I fed them and changed them and didn't kill them, so I take that as a success story. When they finally went back to bed, so did I. When I woke up a few hours later (I slept longer than they did!) I felt much better, but still a bit slow.
I waited until much later in the day to do my run. It was not only hot, but I was lazy and unmotivated. Some days are meant for lounging on the couch with ice cream and chips and no exercise in site. Those days are far and few between unfortunately (at least the no exercise part...ice cream is a staple in my diet!)
