Day 343, 22 To Go

As you may have figured out already, I am a bit behind on my blog.  I'm of two minds about this blog...should I write as if it were actually Dec 9, or should I just say screw it, and write as if it was the actual date I am writing it (Dec 15!)  Since I am fond of science fiction and time travel, I'll go with writing as it if were Dec 9th.  Here we go!

You see, the thing is, it was a super busy week at work.  Um, I mean, it is going to be a super busy day at work, I can just tell if today was any indication.  I am pooped...or I will be pooped by the end of the week.  I think the only consolation I have is that Christmas is rapidly approaching and that makes me feel good.  I have a couple of weeks left to do my shopping and I even know what I need to get.  The question remains, will I be able to get what I want?  What about you?  Did you finish yet?  If not, I once again have a few fun ideas for the runner in your life.

I'm just phoning it in at this point.  Seriously, I'm beat.  I need to keep up the mileage and even add a few more miles to reach my goal of 1,000 miles for the year, so I can't slack off completely, but oh, do I want to!  Not only is it the end of a long year of running, it is the off season when I usually slack...accept I can't really slack!  Just 22 days to go!
