Yay!! Happy 100th day running in a row...said absolutely no one. But I felt like giving myself some balloons to celebrate. Why though? What makes 100 so special? Who the hell knows!
I guess it is probably because we use a base 10 counting system us humans do. That is only because we have 10 fingers and 10 toes. If we had 11 fingers, we would have a base 11 counting system and I would probably be celebrating on my 121st day of running. Luckily, we only have 10 because 11 would look weird.
Honey has been hinting that she wants to run with me again. We shall see. I think it will be good for me because I'm feeling a little worn out. 20 minutes a day has been a little tougher and I'm feeling it. My big concern this week is that I have a race on Saturday, so I don't want to be all worn out. I have been running slow all week...not by choice, really, but because I haven't been able to go faster. Not a good sign for Saturday!!

I guess I will make Saturday my fast day. That is going to have to be the way I think. At least I know I will be warmed up. The run is only 2.8 miles which is pretty short. It is only .3 miles shorter than normal, but I tend to take a little while to get up to full speed. After you get off the bike, your legs can be a bit heavy. Considering I have not been riding much (almost not at all) my legs will be pretty heavy. I could ride slow, but I will probably ride as hard as I can. Then, I will run as hard as I can!!
