As I promised, I am going to post some pictures of the cake we made this week for Colin's birthday. We had a great time at the party and the kids all had fun in the pool. Well, the other kids did. The babies are too small for the pool and I only have two arms, so I didn't try to put them in. Derek did go for a little dip, but the sun hid behind some clouds and it got a bit chilly for swimming. Not that that stopped him. I pulled him out when he started to get blue and he was shivering. Young children will play until they get hypothermia unless you take them out!Self preservation isn't high on a 4 year old's list of priorities!
So, here you go:
There he is, Thomas the Tank Engine! He was made with a yellow pound cake and Ghirardelli Buttercream filling. If you want your very own 3D cake or any type of cake, check out our website at http://www.cupncakesgourmet.com/
Now, to the running. I ran after the party and after consuming cake, cupcakes, hamburgers, hot dogs, mac n cheese and chips. I ran rather well, considering!
Here are my numbers:
Time: 20:00

Time for some much needed rest tonight. Tomorrow, we are off to Orlando to visit the traveling Brazilian Consulate to get some passports, visas, and birth certificates for our trip to Brazil in August. Maybe, while we are there, we may just stop at Fogo de Chao again for some lunch....maybe...
