Hallelujah! Praise the running gods! Month ONE is DONE!That's right folks, one down, 11 to go. 31 days in the books. Miles logged. Time to start month two!
Now that I have completed the first month, it is time to reflect on what was accomplished/not accomplished in the first month. We had some ups and downs along the way. Honey had some issues (physical, not mental...at least the mental didn't interrupt her running...my peace, that's another story) and so did I (physical, not mental...my mental issues are what is making me do this every day...can we all say OCD!)
I like numbers. There, I said it. So, here are some numbers from the first month:
Steve's Total Miles Logged: 52.54
Week 1: 10.19
Week 2: 12.14
Week 3: 13.11
Week 4: 13.27
Partial Week 5: 3.53
Total Running Time: 9:25
Dani's Total Miles Logged: 22.36
Week 1: 8.28
Week 2: 2.33
Week 3: 3.52
Week 4: 4.70
Partial Week 5: 3.53
Total Running Time: 4:45
Now, these numbers are not all that impressive, I know. Some of you do this in one week, and that is fantastic. I should caveat that with MY numbers are not that impressive. For Honey, who NEVER ran, they are awesome! She ended up running 19 days out of the month which is a personal best not only for a month, but for a year. So she is well ahead of the rest of her life. I expect that February will be even better.
Here are our numbers for 1/31:
Time: 15:00
Distance: 1.18 miles
Pace: 12:42/m
Max Pace: 10:24/m
Calories: 120
Avg HR: 109
