Ah, freedom at last. Freedom from guilt, that is. Honey even came out for the run today. Personally, I think she was just trying to keep an eye on me because she was worried about me (unnecessarily, of course).I think she just wants to make sure I am in tip top shape for our weekend away from the babies coming up. I don't blame her. Of course, often these trips away from your kids end up being a non stop sleep fest. My plan is a bit more, can I say, animal?
Yes. I'm talking about wild, monkey sex. Swinging from the chandelier, breaking the headboard, complaints to the manager...monkey sex. You heard it here.
And, yes, probably a lot of sleep too. Hopefully more monkey than sleep. And lots of room service too. Now if I can just find someone to foot the bill, I'm set!
How will I run, you may ask? Well, at least one of the hotels we are staying at has a gym. Yeah, we are staying at two separate hotels because of scheduling issues. On the other hand, I don't see why I can't play "dodge the tourist" with a run down International Drive. I used to do that all the time when I lived in Hawaii and I would run down Kalakaua Drive in Waikiki. It adds a technical aspect to your run with all the dodging and ducking. Add to that the occasional running over of a tourist or their precious little child, and you are not in a foot race to escape from an angry father. Luckily, most tourists are fat and slow.
