Day 79, 286 To Go

March 20, 2013

Ugh.

Fever.  Diarrhea.  More diarrhrea.  So much diarrhea that I long once again for vomit.  This is my life now.  Vomit and diahrea.  You can add Kaylee and Ayla to the vomitous mix in our house.  Honey has also been worshiping the porcelain goddess.  I am the only one who has been spared the vomit.  I don't throw up easy.  Instead, it all comes out my butt.  Repeatedly.  Nonstop, even.

Add to that, I have a fever that has reached as high as 101.  Not all that high, but higher than I should run with.  I am pounding Tylenol in the hopes of lowering it enough to sneak out of the house and run.  The fever, although a problem, is less of a problem then finding 15 minutes where I can run without a bathroom nearby.

So, I got my fever down below 100, and I went for my run.

Disclaimer: You should NOT run if you have a fever over 99.  This is what the doctor's tell me.  Bad stuff can happen.

I ran in 5 minute loops to stay close to home in case I needed to run inside.  Luckily, I made it the whole 15 minutes.  I ran inside at the end and once again, graced my toilet with the presence of my butt and an never ending stream of...of...who knows what is coming out of me now.  I can't imagine I have any more water or food in my body since I haven't eaten in almost two days.  But yet, still more stuff is coming out.

Here are my numbers:

Time: 15:00
Distance: 1.29 miles
Pace: 11:39/m
Max Pace: 8:30/m
Calories: 167
Avg HR: 128
Max HR: 132

This was officially my worst day yet.  I felt horrible and really, I should have been inside in bed.  That is where I am headed.  At least Kaylee and Ayla have stopped throwing up and now it is only Joshua who seems to be having trouble.  Poor little guy.

I hope tomorrow is better.  My fever is once again climbing and it has reached 102 now.  Sleepies...take me away...

Run for Life!
