I feel good today. I am fairly confident my days of sickness are behind me. That's not to say that I am full of energy and ready to run a long way, but I am pretty sure I can take on my day 2 of running 20 minutes for the week.Today was a day to relax though. So, I decided to get my taxes together. Not that I was going to actually do my taxes myself. Hell no. I want no part of that mess. I just got all my receipts and deductions and brought my tax ignorant ass over to H&R Block. I had intended to go to a place called Liberty Tax, but when I go there and saw the balloons and the flashing lights and all the other cheesy crap to go along with it, I changed my mind. Taxes are not meant to be flashy or gimmicky. I wanted someone who knew what he/she was doing.
I am happy to say, it all worked out.
Granted, it took a while, but when I got home, it was time for my run.
Here are my numbers:
Time: 20:00
Distance: 2.21 miles
Pace: 9:03/m
Max Pace: 8:09/m
Calories: 285
Avg HR: 131
Max HR: 142
Running 20 minutes is going to push up my mileage, on good days, to over 2 miles which is cool. Finally, I will start to compile some decent mileage every week. On the other hand, my legs are going to feel it too...particularly my feet. They already are. I think that has more to do with my sick running this week. My body was weak, and I think that didn't help out my running form. Time will tell...
