Hey, hey, its Friday!! My first week back at work was a success in that I did not cry, quit, get fired, or make any major mistakes. Other than that, I can't say anything much more positive about the experience.
Based on how I ran, though, it may have been a better work week than a run week. Sure, I am recovering and also tapering for a race, but it is more about how I felt. I don't feel like I am ready for Sunday! I considered for a second not racing but then I realized I spent almost $100 on the race fee and I ain't throwing that money away!

It has been a long slog this week. Lots of slow, hard runs. I can't wait until the race is over, I feel better, and I can get back to normal (including, catching up with my blog because I am still way behind!!)
