Day 295, 70 To Go

October 22, 2013

Happy Tuesday peoples!  I am happy and excited today because my back is feeling better and I have a new article to show all of you.  This one should be fun.  It is the 10 Runs Every American Must Do!  I am excited because I have done a couple of the runs and because I would love to do the rest and I am sure all of you will also find it fun to look at.

Let's get the boring stuff out of the way first.  Here are my numbers:

Time: 30:00
Distance: 3.18 miles
Pace: 9:26/m
Max Pace: 7:36/m
Calories:328
Avg HR: 126
Max HR: 143

See, my numbers are coming back down to earth.  I bet tomorrow will be even better.

Now, the first run that every American should do is...

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the United States' signature achievements, and it remains iconic 75 years after it opened. The bridge is 1.7 miles long and we recommend going to a scenic vista point on the north side of the bridge before turning around and heading back. In total, it's one of the best 4-mile routes you'll ever run.

Tell me, is that not a great view, or what?  I have been to San Fransisco, but I was only 13 and I didn't run.  I enjoyed driving up and down the crazy hills...sort of.  I was visiting my grandfather and he kind of drove realllly slow, so it could have been much more fun.  I would like to go back to California one of these days.  It has a lot of beautiful areas and a lot of potentially beautiful places to run.

If you don't look ahead, you can patiently wait for the next place...if you aren't patient, I'll still show you one at a time and it will be kind of boring.  So don't look!!

Run for Life!!
